Project Description
We were approached by Flagstaff during COVID 2020. A time which has now become synonymous with the word ‘pivot’, and that is exactly what The Flagstaff Group aimed to do.
Their goal was to convert their diD programs from face to face to online. And so, we set out to create an online portal, with our primary approach to keep it simple and easy to navigate for its user.
We utilised the learning management system, LearnDash, which seamlessly helped covert in-person workshops and training programs onto a digital platform.
Combined with an ecommerce shopping cart system, users were able to successfully purchase and enrol in online courses. In addition, a range of learning material and resources were made available on the website.
Challenges
Understanding who your target audience is, is key to any successful website, and in this case it was crucial. As an organisation which promotes and teaches disability inclusion, it was a priority to ensure that the diD website followed the standards of accessibility (found via the W3C initiative).
Despite navigating the new normal of working from home ourselves here at HyperWeb, we were able to work through any challenges we faced and produce a website which met our client’s requirements and exceed their expectations.
Outcome
Post COVID, The Flagstaff Group have resumed face to face training modules, while maintaining their online programs as well.
