Web design and development agency HyperWeb building business websites

Award-winning web designers — Newcastle

A standout website needs to do more than just look good. It also needs to take a user-focused approach. User-focused means being structured and laid out to maximise the user experience (UX).

As well as being easy to scan and navigate so people can find the information they need and what you want to share with them, your website should also be mobile responsive and fast to load.

Combining these elements with strong design and imagery is the key to getting it right. And we’re here to help – whether you’re a small business wanting to break into the online market or a large organisation that needs to update and evolve your existing digital home.

With over 20 years of experience, we know our code + UX. One of our specialities is eCommerce website design.

Our web development process

Step 1

Initial strategy + scoping meeting

We meet at your business or our office to learn more about you, your goals as a business owner, and what you’re looking for in a website. We also talk about your customers, their needs and goals, and the problems you solve for them. This helps us understand what they expect from you online.

Step 2

Content structure and proposal

We work on a content structure and page layouts and send you a jargon-free proposal detailing the project aims, work we will do, timeframes, costs, and a sitemap. The sitemap details each page and its purpose, intention, role in the site, and content expectation.

Step 3

Acceptance + design

Once you accept our proposal, we begin with a design brief using wireframes and a UX focussed approach.

Step 4

Our web designers in Newcastle develop your site on a secure staging server with username and password access. This allows you to view progress along the way and provide feedback and input at any time.

Step 5

Optimisation + testing

We optimise for page load speed, security, and search engine optimisation to ensure your website performs well from the start.

Step 6

Release + hand-off

We send your website live, ensuring business continuity with minimum to no downtime. We also provide training to give you the ability to manage content as needed going forward. Alternatively, we offer optional ongoing support services.

Already have an existing website?

If you already have an existing website, we can give it a thorough review with your business, customers and market needs in mind. We can then provide you with recommendations for improvement and implement these changes for you to drive positive results.
