Their electric vehicle range covers everything from utility and transport to hospitality and even medical use, and if a client has specific needs, EMC has the expertise to customise the vehicle.

Objectives

EMC came to us with a clear brief: modernise their digital presence. They wanted a sleek, professional website that:

The new website came with its own set of challenges:

    EMC’s range of electric vehicles for industries such as industrial, recreational, utility and people movement required precise categorisation while keeping technical details accessible to non-technical visitors.

    With a large percentage of traffic coming from mobile devices, the website needed to load fast, be responsive and have a consistent UX regardless of device.
  • Lead Capture
    Efficient lead generation required seamless integration of inquiry forms, calls-to-action and request-for-quote features.

    We needed to keep the design appealing while showcasing EMC’s leadership in the electric vehicle market without overwhelming the user.

Solution

User-Centric Website Redesign

We took a data driven approach to create a website that ticked all the boxes for EMC. Here’s how it went:

  • 1. Defining the Brand Identity
    We ensured the design reflected EMC’s values. We brought Raz O’Connor from Ronnoco into the team to bring out the EMC brand in a website design. The website was designed and built with clean lines, modern aesthetic and high-quality vehicle images to convey professionalism, sustainability and innovation.
  • 2. Accessible Product Showcases
    Targeting multiple industries, the website was structured with separate sections for each category (Industrial, Recreational, Utility, etc.). Each section had in-depth product descriptions, high res images and technical specs while keeping navigation easy.
  • 3. SEO Optimisation
    We did in-depth keyword research to optimise key pages for organic search. Keywords like “electric low-speed vehicles” and “sustainable transport Australia” were used to attract qualified traffic.
  • 4. SEO Optimisation
    With up to 60% of traffic coming from mobile, the website was designed to be fully responsive. This ensured users had a seamless navigation and clear calls-to-action regardless of device.
  • 5. Lead Generation Tools
    Lead capture forms were placed throughout the website with prominent “Request a Quote” and “Contact Us” buttons. Forms were optimised to reduce friction and encourage inquiries so EMC could capture valuable customer data efficiently.
