Emergent Group was born out of The Advitech Group, an engineering consulting company based in Newcastle NSW. The Advitech Group embarked on a major rebranding exercise to leverage the dynamic partnerships of highly specialised technical science companies within the group.
Emergent Group was built on the belief that Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Manufacturing (STEM&M) technology and innovation can provide the means to secure Australia’s future.
Emergent group consists of Acubis, Advitech, Novecom and Simulation Modelling Services (SMS). Their diverse portfolio of companies allows them to provide integrated solutions from planning and assessments; to manufacturing; to operations, maintenance, upgrades and asset management.
WHAT WE DID
The Advitech Group worked with consultant The Measured Marketer, and a local graphic designer & brand developer, Dare to be...Bold, to rebrand to Emergent Group and to create a seamless, modern, and collaborative brand across all company members. The brief was to create individual websites for each company within the Emergent Group. There was a requirement for each to be distinct, but have a consistency across the suite. The result would be independent sites for the Emergent Group itself, and Advitech, Acubus, Novecom, and SMS.
Our team developed a consistent customised wordpress theme and internal page layouts from the designs supplied. We applied this theme across the websites with internal page layouts driven by the home page design. We used a multisite approach to allow each company to have a dedicated website, however they share a Wordpress installation and plugins. This allows for efficiency in administration and content management and back-end maintenance.
We developed custom elements for page content to allow more complex areas of information to be easily edited by the client while maintaining an effective front-end user experience. We developed an innovative main navigation, and visual parallax effects on scrolling creating an engaging perception that suits the modern look and feel. User experience was also at the forefront when designing interaction via calls to action and online forms.
The new Emergent Group multisite now portrays a modern, innovative and collaborative company which aligns with its new brand.
Working closely alongside the client and the designer, our team successfully created a user-friendly website which is in line with the company’s philosophy ‘better and stronger together’.
We’re thrilled with our new websites and the way Hyperweb brought our new brand to life. The multisite approach has given us the ability manage content very efficiently across the five websites. Emergent Group and its member companies now have an ideal foundation to support our digital marketing strategy into the future.
