Meet Our Front End Developer – Wade Hayward

News

Today marks Wade Hayward’s two-year Hyper-versary. Wade joined us in 2017 to help with our increasing workload and volume of website development. Wade’s role is Front-end Developer and as such is responsible for the look and feel as well as the execution of the user experience of our client’s websites.

Over the last two years Wade has contributed greatly to the continued quality of our work. He is a great fit in the team with his eagerness to help others, and with his sense of humour. Some of Wade’s outstanding Web Development Projects include Acadia Wealth Advice, New Lambton & District OOSH, K&R Hydraulics, Hunter Animal Rescue, CIA Precast & Steel Solutions, Redicrete and Redisand.

Wade started his web development career as a junior in 2009 and since then has developed in a wide variety of areas including large scale membership based websites, large scale retail websites to developing email templates with distribution lists with well over half a million recipients.

Let’s get to know a few things about Wade:

What is the most inspiring part of your job?

Designing and developing a visually appealing website that I can be proud of and which exceeds client’s expectations.

How do you spend your free time?

I spend a lot of time with my wonderful wife and gorgeous baby daughter. I also have a massive passion for motorsport and kart racing. In 2018, I was awarded Newcastle Kart Racing Club Senior Club Champion. This is where I race locally, but I also enjoy participating in events all over NSW.

What are 3 words you use to describe HyperWeb?

Motivated, Professional, Hungry (both figuratively, and literally, we love a good burger!)

Go to music, author, and leisure activity?

I LOVE throwing on my headphones and drowning myself in some good old punk rock music. I also love pulling on my virtual reality headset and climbing into my sim racing rig to cut some digital laps (when I can’t be on the real race track).

If you could learn anything, what would it be?

To fly a plane.

When creating a website, what helps your creativity?

I am constantly scanning and researching cutting edge web technologies and trying to incorporate the latest and greatest development trends into every website build I do. The great thing about the digital industry is that it is constantly changing and evolving so no two projects are ever the same. Being on top of current trends and taking on board ideas (good and bad) from everything I see produces some truly unique results.
